MASK MAKING WORKSHOP

MONDAYS &WEDNESDAYS,  STARTING OCTOBER 17th.  4 CLASSES

-October 17, 19, 24,26.  6-7:30pm

-Class culminates in aDia De Los Muertos celebration on October 29th. Participants are invited to parade to the Cuyahoga River at 8:30pm.

Description:  

KATHRYN LAWSON BIO:

     Kathryn Lawson is a fiber artist and professional costume and fashion designer fromAkron, Ohio.  She is a former Kent State University School of FashionDesign instructor and owns a sustainable clothing company, LadyKate's Fashion Refinery.

   Kathryn begansewing at the early age of 4 and went on to earn degrees in Fashion Merchandising, Clothing Textiles and Interiors and Theatre Arts.  Inaddition to professional theatre and film work, she has done antique stextile restoration and reproductions for museums.  She has also created custom stage clothes for performers worldwide, and prototypedesign for several well-known companies.

   The North WaterStreet Gallery is conveniently located just a block north of theintersection of Main and Water Streets in Kent, Ohio, with free street parking on both sides of the street. Seating is limited, soarrive early for the best seats.
