"Water" Earth Day Art Exhibition

Featuring Edwin George, the Cherokee Native American who recently was awarded a prestigious Ohio Arts Council Individual Artist Fellowship for 2005.
Other participating artists include Kate Pilacky, Theresa Carlin, Vince Packard, Jessica Fleming, Caroline Marquart, and Gary Lockwood.

"Water" is a group exhibition to commemorate the 35th anniversary of Earth Day. All of the artists believe strongly in protecting the Earth from environmental degradation. Clean air, clean water, and clean soil are basic biological necessities that are often taken for granted in the world of modern convenience. Taking on the theme of water, these artists explore the ways in which this simple molecule is essential to the river of life.
Water Quality issues will be presented and discussed throughout the run of the exhibition. Dates, times, and speakers, to be announced.
